I'm Leaving On a Jet Plane....and House of Fifty!

Just a quick post before I leave for my flight to Canada. I'll be furthering my education with Maria Killam. If you haven't heard of her you owe it to yourself to check out her website and blog, you will never look at colour the same way again! I'll be sure to post all about it when I get back!

I have sung the praises of this e-zine before but today is a little different...

Janell Beals (the founding editor) has put her heart, soul and personal finances into this one of a kind magazine. Having set aside an initial amount to launch and support this venture, we have been blessed with original content and a magazine to go to that is "real" and full of heart.

You can read more about it on her blog here but as the magazine has gotten more successful with each issue the costs to maintain it have gone up.   The decision has been made to charge for the magazine, and rightfuly so!  At only $1.50 an issue, it is very affordable. I have professed my love for this e-magazine before and this issue is no different! My heart skips a beat when I see a new issue in my email and I can't wait to get a moment to myself to read and take in all the loveliness!

Happy Anniversary to House Of Fifty!

Congrats to my friend Janell on the anniversary issue of House Of Fifty! Hard to believe that this magazine has only been around a year. I have loved every issue, and this one is chalk full of great ideas, interiors, and a recipe or two.

The latest issue of House of Fifty is up!

If you haven't heard of the e-zine House of Fifty, you are in for a treat!  My friend Janell Beals of Isabella and Max Rooms is the founding editor. You can get it via Ipad/phone, here and even in print! They even have a blog! 

They already have a few issues out. One of my favorite articles was on eclectic design
