Be on trend, at Target

Just a quick post today...I am having a great time at Design Camp and learning a lot! 

Have you noticed what is at Target lately? Their new home brand, now called Threshold is full of great on trend items. I have featured it before here. 

Their latest offerings have me itching for spring!

I just love all the color, so fun!  Hope it inspires you to add some to your home.

New name and small updates....

Just a quick post today as I am headed out to Atlanta for Design Camp! 

I am sure you guys have noticed a few changes around here. I am changing the name of the blog and my company to Annie Vincent Interiors. 

The page houseonrene.com should go to this new page but I would love it if you could update your links to my new name and address.

Hope you guys like the new look, for now anyway! It is still a work in progress but I am excited at where things are headed!

Nate Berkus teams up with Calico Corners

I was browsing through my Traditional Home magazine when I spotted this handsome face

Okay, okay, I was actually stopped by the beautiful settee done in this fabric

If you haven't heard, Nate has teamed up with Calico Corners to create his first fabric collection. They start at $14 yd and true to his aesthetic, the fabrics are inspired by his exotic travels and his love for mixing and matching patterns. There are a lot of ethnic prints, solids, and subtle sheens in a wide variety of colors and combinations!

I've professed my love of Nate on this blog before but I really do love his work. I love the collected look, and all of his spaces have a timeless quality, yet look like they can actually be lived in and loved.

SO excited!

Some of you may remember the contest I entered on Olioboard. I placed #5 in popular votes but sadly did not win one of the tickets. (Although my friend Kristie (The Decorologist) did! YAY! ) I was honestly just honored, and humbled to have placed so high in one of my first competitions. It is thanks to the fabulous readers and friends I have! Thank you!!

 I also entered in a drawing that my friend Traci Zeller  had for a free ticket to Design Camp with Lori and Kelli. I didn't win that drawing either. :(

I still, kept my spirits high and prayed that I would continue to find ways to learn and grow in my new business this year.

Those positive thoughts and prayers did not go unnoticed....

Traci Zeller had such a great response to her giveaway for Design Camp tickets that Lori and Kelli sent her a handful of extra tickets and I GOT ONE!!!

I was so shocked, humbled and very very excited!

I will be off to Atlanta learning from the who's who in the industry and loving every minute of it!

Exciting things for 2013!

My kids are still on their holiday break but I am popping in to say that so far this year is shaping up to be awesome! Exciting things are coming!!
